Artist member since 2019

I make art to try and understand my place in the world. I am thinking about how I experience reality and the human experience. I have an abiding interest in the restorative power of beauty and how it is perceived. I believe that beauty offers a balm for the anxiety of modern life. I am asking the question: Does the world embody beautiful ideas? What is symmetry, what is the memory of a beautiful feeling, how does that relate to mortality and anxiety? My work is by no means an answer but an exploration of the questions.

I studied art history and philosophy at the University of Toronto. I developed a strong love for Italy and studied Italian and art restoration at L'istituto Europe in Florence Italy. I recently moved from Toronto to Kelowna BC.
